Dr. Lori Kimata was born and raised in Hawaii, received her bachelor’:s degree in Psychology from UCLA and her medical degree from National College in 1988. As a Naturopathic Physician, Midwife, Yoga Instructor, Author, Guest Lecturer, and Sexual and Spiritual Counselor, Musician, and Nature Lover, Dr. Lori has traveled the world extensively, calling herself a "Life Artist". Since 1985, Dr. Lori has been assisting mothers birthing naturally in Oregon, Arizona, and Hawaii. In addition, she continues to teach creative childbirth and women’:s health and sexuality classes on Oahu. It is an honor for her to have supported over 600 families in their amazing birthing journey. Each child born brings new inspiration, as she continues sharing her passion for nature’:s wisdom.

Selena Green is a Certified Professional Midwife, a Level II Reiki Practitioner, the V.P. of Midwives Alliance of Hawaii and founder and CEO of Sacred Birth Angels Foundation. Selena has two birth homes: Sacred Birth Place in the SF Bay Area and Hale Kealaula on Oahu. Selena has been involved with birth for over 18 years and believes in a woman’s ability to birth when supported in a sacred, safe, honoring, culturally competent and loving environment.

Selena provides women with a safe and loving environment to explore the option of out of hospital birth, whether it is at their home or the birth home. Selena says: “basically, my job is to love you up”. Selena is a mother of 2 sons and 4 grandsons and welcomes you and your family into her ever growing Sacred Birth family.

Dr. Madeleine Portuondo is a Naturopathic Physician and Homebirth Midwife. She specializes in Women’s Health, Natural Childbirth, Fertility, Gynecology, Pediatrics and Holistic Family Medicine. She was born in Miami, Florida and received her Bachelor of Science in Biology, Pre–Medicine at California State University. She graduated from National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon. In addition to her practice, she teaches medical classes and gives lectures, and is a member of the Hawaii Society of Naturopathic Physicians. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, swimming, reading, gardening, creating art, and cooking whole foods.
